Individual counseling provides an opportunity for you to explore your childhood experiences, problems and day to day life while learning coping techniques for dealing with anger, anxiety and sadness.

Many times relationships can be overwhelming especially when one or both partners feel their needs are not being met. Counseling assists couples in improving communication, repairing broken bonds and strengthening their relationship.

Family counseling may be the first important step towards restoring balance, building healthy communication and increasing understanding within the family unit.

My Approach
My clients are individuals who have experienced hardships in their personal, family, social or work life. My approach in working with individuals is based on an Adlerian perspective which means that we will collaboratively identify how your thoughts and beliefs impact your feelings and behaviors and how those feelings and behaviors stem from your early childhood experiences, family of origin, and connected relationships with others.

About me
I assist clients by helping them identify and address issues, thoughts, or emotions that may interfere with their personal growth. I believe when individuals are in a position to resolve or cope with problems or challenges; they are more likely to navigate successfully through life’s daily experiences and maximize their potential. Emphasis may be in the areas of prevention, personal growth, problem solving, decision-making, coping or support.
